
Nishan D. Vyas is an Indiana State University graduate with a major in Recreation and Sports Management. Since then he has been pursuing a Master Degree in Public Administration at IUPUI. “I truly believe in Development of Soccer on the Southside of Indianapolis, my goal is for our community to be known nationwide as a hotbed of soccer. I truly believe I have the education and the experience to make this goal a reality. ”
Dilip Vyas is well known in the Indianapolis soccer community as a Soccer official, Referee assignor, and the USSF DRA of our area. “My father has been immensely influential in my career, and he is responsible for the professional I have become today.”
Nishan Vyas’s professional experiences include but are not limited to Child Care, Facilities Management, Soccer Officiating and Nonprofit Development in club soccer. Nishan first gained the understanding of child care field as 2 year Assistant Group Leader at Camp Winadu, America’s #1 Premier sports camp. Since then, he has worked with the Urban Soccer Development Program, and has served as the Assistant Director of the 2010 St. Francis Summer Camp. His management experience comes from being an Assistant Manager at Kuntz Soccer Complex, as well as, the former Director of Soccer at Indy Indoor Sports Park. As a soccer official with over 10 years of experience, Nishan has been able to gain an intricate knowledge of the game of soccer. Most importantly Nishan has had the opportunity to gain hands on experience as an Intern (in 2009) with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, and he has been actively involved with assisting with the development of local non-profit soccer clubs via his Graduate School Course work.
In 2011 Nishan is embarking on a new journey as the General Manager of Upper 90® Sports Dome in Indianapolis. The goal is to an opportunity to further the growth and development of soccer on the Southside of Indianapolis, all the while placing an upmost focus on Customer Service and Fair Play.
